What are the main steps?
COCKPIT → PLAN → GENERATE → COMBINE → EXPORT- PLAN = Director Board (script + chapter board + Snap)
- GENERATE = Creation Engine page
- COMBINE = Production Studio
- EXPORT = render MP4
Do I need the Creation Engine if I use Snap?
No. Snap (top nav icon) can plan scripts and generate image/video from chat, plus inline generate on Director Board. Open GENERATE (Creation Engine) when you want the full generate page. What is Snap
Where is the Snap docs page?
/docs/snap/what-is-snap — older /docs/ai-director/what-is-ai-director redirects automatically.
Chapter or scene?
The UI says Chapter and Shot. Use “chapter” in help and prompts. (Some APIs still use scene internally.)
What is Director Board vs scene board?
Director Board is the PLAN section. It includes the chapter board for chapters and shots. There is no separate product name “scene board.”
How do I sign in?
Google or email. Apple sign-in is not used.
Do I have to stay on the page while media generates?
No. Jobs run in the background; you get a notification when done.
Where do results go?
Your project asset library. Attach to shots on the chapter board for production progress.
